The Travel Contact has globetrotting in mind. It's a robust clincher with a high carrying capacity, extremely effective puncture resistance, and a tread that makes it possible to explore all kinds of roads and paths. It boasts Continental's SafetySystem for exceptional puncture protection with little added weight the layer of DuraSkin offers excellent protection against sidewall tears.

Made up of Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric, the SafetySystem protects against cuts and punctures but remains light and flexible. It provides a bit of extra comfort and a longer lifespan for the tire as well.

Look for the brown sidewalls, and you know you've got DuraSkin protecting your
 tires. The high-quality polyamide fabric helps prevent cuts and abrasions when riding in the harshest conditions.

I bought a set of these for my SL-2 in order to ride the white pine trail. They performed beyond my expectations. So much so that I purchased another pair. Great for on or off the road.
